Habitat

The Ludwig's Bustard, on the other hand, is also a wild bird that has settled in Africa. The animals are mainly found in Namibia, where, like the other species of bustards, they find their food on the ground. They are mainly found in grasslands but also seek shelter in bushes or taller grasses. If you are on a safari in Africa, you can admire this beautiful species.

Diet

The Ludwig's Bustard, which is very rare due to its enemies such as vultures, can still be spotted in Africa. During the midday hours, these animals rest and go in search of food in the early morning hours or in the evening.

Appearance

The long neck and short legs are the distinguishing features of the Ludwig's Bustard. Since this bird species is quite small, they can be quickly spotted by African falcons. They are living targets of various predators that are also found on the African continent.
