Gaetulians

Nomadic ethnic group in Africa

They are also the ancestors of the Tuareg, who still live in the Atlas Mountains today. Parts of the Gaetulians also settled in South Africa. These were then called Melanogaetulians. The tribe that still inhabits the Atlas Mountains is a hunting people. They particularly like to hunt elephants or other large animals.

Customs and traditions of the nomadic people

The Gaetulians were nomads. They set up their night camps wherever the onset of darkness surprised them.
